Churnie: Card Churn Tracker · Last updated: 13 June 2026

The short version: Churnie is a tracker for information you enter yourself, stored on your phone. It never connects to your bank and it is not financial advice. The app is free. The app is provided "as is".

1. Who we are

The app is operated by OnIT Tech Pty Ltd (ABN 71 670 099 395), trading as Mental Metal ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Questions: [email protected].

2. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal use. You agree not to copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except to the extent permitted by law.

3. Purchases and billing

Churnie is currently free, with every feature included and no in-app purchases. In future the app may include clearly-labelled advertisements, offers, or referral links to third-party card products, for which we may receive compensation; any such content will be disclosed as required and kept distinct from the app's tracking features. If paid features are ever introduced, these terms and the app will say so plainly first.

4. Your data stays on your device; not financial advice

Churnie stores what you enter locally on your phone. It is not uploaded to us and is never stored on any server. Deleting the app removes its local data; keep your own records of anything that matters to you. How we handle the limited anonymous diagnostic and purchase data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Churnie is an information tool, not financial advice. Reminder dates, eligibility windows, and point valuations are general information based on what you entered and on published bank rules that change without notice. They may be wrong, out of date, or inapplicable to your card. Always verify dates, fees, and bonus rules with your bank and the card's current offer terms before acting, and consider whether credit products are right for your circumstances. We are not responsible for fees charged, bonuses missed, credit-score effects, or any decision you make based on the app.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the app lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or security. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reminder, date, valuation, or eligibility window shown is accurate or complete. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability arising from your use of the app is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including bank fees incurred, bonuses not received, or other financial outcomes of decisions you make using the app.

7. Changes

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
